Hello guys

I need your help ...

I'm using Portable webrtc off 32 bits iron version Version 52.0.2750.04 on windows 7
I can sign in to google account and sync without problem (no paraphrase)

On a second computer, I cannot sign in with the same account, same iron version, windows 7 also
Error is 'Sorry there seems to be a problem. Please try again'
but I've tried several times, several days

Then I used the Iron Config backup and restore to have my profile on the 2nd computer
Same issue. Wonnecting to my gmail account works well on this 2nd computer.
Same problem with previous iron version

Any ideas ?
Probably not an Iron issue rather a Google bug I think

Using any extensions or firewall/host configs that may block the connection?
Any user agent change?

Please try with a clean portable for a test

On this 2nd computer, I tried a portable Chrome 32 bits : sign-in is OK

With a fresh Portable Iron, first start, I have a message saying : do I want to install Avira Safety extension ?
Whatever I click yes (then I have this addon) or no , I still have then the same Google signin problem

I had Avira before but I've uninstalled it because Avira is intrusive with this extension.

Now struggling to remove all traces of this Avira even if I've already uninstalled Avira (fully I thought) which is a real piece of junkware now

Can you make a try completely without antivirus/firewall (disabled)? Maybe it has a special whitelist for chrome

I've managed to clean up Avira extension safety see below

Still same problem with signin

From mybrowserinfo.com:
Your Browser User Agent String is
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2750.0 Iron Safari/537.36

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
From another website ( credits to mmm345!) to remove Avira Browser Safety for good :

This is how you permanently remove it:
1. In Chrome extensions, enable developer mode.
2. locate extension id, it will be something like this: ID: kjhsfkjhsfgkjhgdfjgkhdfkjg
3. start regedit, search for the id.
4. delete all keys (they look like folders) you find. (there should be two)

If you don't see the extension (because you have "removed" it), click the little person button at the top right corner of Chrome, click switch person and add a new person. Avira should auto-install, and then you can remove it for real by following the steps.

In my case, the extension id was flliilndjeohchalpbbcdekjklbdgfkk , maybe it's the same everywhere. So just open regedit and search for that first. If nothing is found, follow the steps.
