Importing Firefox password settings to Iron fails

I have attempted to import all of my Firefox settings to Iron, using the available import tool on Iron's Version 48.0.2550.0 (64-bit) from Firefox 45.
I am able to get all the bookmarks and other settings but the passwords will not come despite the popup that the import was successful. Normally from Firefox to Firefox installations I could simply drag over a copy of the profile, this doesn't seem to be an option here. I'm running openSUSE Leap 42.1. Can someone advise a solution? Thanks.
