Problem Installing CRX Files

After downloading an extension (a .crx file) from the Chrome Web Store and trying to install it in Iron I get the following notification:
Googled the problem and find that it has to do with the _metadata folder and its files. Cannot find a possible solution or workaround. Has anyone found how to solve this problem.\?
