I have a portable installation of Iron for use in environments where Chrome is being managed. Generally speaking Iron ignores any such management settings or policies. When I check chrome://policies and chrome://management Iron reports no management or policies in place.

However, Secure DNS/DNS-over-HTTPS cannot be enabled because "This setting is being managed by your organization."

In firefox, by comparison, Secure DNS can be enabled no problem.

Is this a bug or is there some reason why Iron cannot allow this?

Some Network-Settings are derived from the Windows-Settings (Proxys too). Firefox is managing network stuff on it's own.
