No sound on videos

Hi !
I am on windows 7.
I've just installed the lastest version, because I have no sound on videos, on youtube
for example. The proble appeared since some month and I felt, it is time to fix.
Just installing the new version changed nothing with this.
I created a new user profile, started iron and the sound is there.
Due to the huge amount of programs I used, its impossible to just delete my userprofile.
Any tips would be great!
[And no: Its not the volume control

[Update: I found a topic with the same problem and it links to a video on youtube, which - according
to the poster - does not have sound. For me, it has! Then I click the next video and since this click,
no sound on any video ...]
