Why does Iron connect to Google on Startup?

SRWARE Iron 55.0.2900.0 Stable for Windows connects to Google IP 74.125.143.141: 443 on startup and maintains a connection. Al extensions are disabled. No webpage has been accessed yet. Iron_Backup_Config.exe has been set to Extended Privacy and so update connections are supposed to be disabled. Anyone have a clue what is going on?

mine doesn't do that.
what's your home page set to?
maybe the home page has google apis on it.

The startup page is blank´, it does not connect to any webpage.
Did you inspect a list of IPs that Iron connects to when you startup?

Please update to 55.0.2900.1 (redownload setup/zip). This connection could happen if Google translate was enabled in Settings. Is now removed.
