Got it too, sometimes(!) after i deinstall iron then youtube works, like yesterday. But then it starts over again.

Same behavior for me.... I'll go crazy with these crashes :o
The "clear cookies and data when closing window" trick does not work, I need to manually delete youtube cookies or Iron crash every time I try to access YouTube. :evil:

after installing the new version 96.x on my machine the problem does not occur anymore

I’ve run into similar browser quirks, and it’s always a puzzle, right? Once, I had an issue with my browser crashing on specific sites, and clearing cookies or cache didn’t help. I eventually tried using a private/incognito mode, which worked perfectly until they pushed a proper update to fix it. If you’re still struggling, you might want to give incognito mode a shot, as Jacob mentioned.

On another note, if video editing is tied to tackling YouTube-related issues, I’ve found Movavi’s free video editing software for Mac helpful for preparing content. It’s user-friendly and does the job without diving deep into overly complex features.
