I found my issue: google.com loads upon startup when I turn off "hardware acceleration" in advanced settings. Never used to be a problem before on this same computer, nor is it an issue for me on Chrome etc.

It is buggy again, have to roll back to SRWare Iron 91.0.4650.0 x64 - 18.06.2021 version.
Hi
Why going back to v 91 ?
I've being using Version 96.0.4900.0 for months without any issues.

Thanks for the new release.

I've been using the new version for about a week to see how it works, and I haven't noticed any problems in my environment.
So far, the only thing I've noticed is that the way the reading list is displayed has changed.

last 2 version updates have same issue of no window control buttons in upper right corner. (close, max, min) no matter what theme or background is used. same on both my desktop and laptop. had to drop back to 96 to get buttons back.

i can if i don't have to remove the installed version to test it.
i only have the 2 pc's and i don't want to lose or screw up settings, passwords and such.
can the installed and portable versions coexist on the same drive in different folders without interfering with other?
running win7 pro, will any of the usesr/chromium folder be over written by portable version?
i tried the iron backup tool, but it does not work. i do get an error, but it is in a language i cannot read so no clue what it is.

This may be a Chrome specification, but tabs added to the reading list are not treated as read when read later.
If I click on the "Read" button, it will be marked as read, but I don't think this is very convenient.
Chrome often changes its specifications, but I think it often behaves like a revisionist
