I usually run Iron in incognito mode, have set cookies to be blocked, and have yet to see an 'X' icon in the URL bar on th right side, or anywhere else for that matter. Tried in Regular mode, and still no 'X'. Don't know why!
All I see is that stupid star that I have yet to use.

Well crap! Forget my last post regarding this! I had the cookies blocked, but forgot to check the third party cookies. Now the cookie icon shows up!

I've just been learning about flash cookies, or "super cookies..."Local Shared Objects (LSO), that flash puts on your pc, if you use flash. Does Iron delete these as well as html cookies? Does fanboys adblocker include-able to fend these nasty things off?
i read Chrome and FF have a tool to delete these, called better privacy-(FF) i forgot what chrome is using...(on a side note, i just read Chrome bought doubleclick a while ago...lol.)

Anyway, i have ccleaner configured to clean out Iron's complete (as far as i know of) history. I don't know if ccleaner is cleaning these LSO's out. Can anybody give me more info about these, and if the SRWare people know about it, can you comment about it?
I do a search *.sol and *.LSO, but i come up clean...lol. But that doesn't mean they aren't on my system so i read. I'm on the proccess of adding this to ccleaner to flush these bad boys out. Again, I'm just learning about these, so please bear with me.

and @fanboy...are you planning on, or working on a new script we can use? I have your Iron page as a link in my toolbar for easy access, but i see your site is still down. Btw....thank you very much for your efforts and all your work..it is very, very much appreciated!!

*.SOL extension , and you can delete these ...


or you can visit this adobe page to delete or super cookies, and , more important, to deny the storage on your PC of such cookies:

So that really is it?? I have tried going to the flash control panel you posted and that's how i got it set up. I did a search using the *.SOL and *.LSO, nothing. i entered in that url you gave me, i tried it before, i got it from a website i pulled up using scroogle and came up with one file. I tried to open it but it was empty. it was named just a few letters and #'s, so i deleted it, as i got rid of adobe reader and installed foxit...lol.
