Using Qwant as default search engine

Post by mgrcommandes »

Hello,
quite all browsers enable to change the default search engine.
Iron seems to be the only one offering a very short list of search engines. Usually, I set Qwant as default search engine on my browser (actually the default one is Firefox). How to do that with Iron ?
Best regards.

Open Iron.
Go to Settings:
Click the three dots in the upper right corner.
Select Settings.
Scroll down to the Search engine section.
Click “Manage search engines.”
In the “Other search engines” section:
Click “Add.”
Fill in the following information:
Search engine name: Qwant
Keyword: qwant
URL with %s in place of query:

Code: Select all

https://www.qwant.com/?q=%s
Click Add.
Once Qwant appears in the list, tap the three dots next to it and select “Make default.”
