Same problem every time when Iron make a update , the NewTab Bing bat i annoyng , this time the last update NewTabWithoutSearch dosent work the browser dont start the resources.pak need to be repack.

I hope to fix that guys i use this browser from 5 years dont disappoint me now

Sorry I cannot download 64bit portable version. all other files yes but this file remain at 96.5%

Hello, first time posting here, just want to say thanks to you guys, for making Iron one of the most brilliant web browser.

For my problem, I don't know it is because of the new update or something, but it seems like that adding --disk-cache-size=0 --media-cache-size=0 in the target field of Iron's shortcut doesn't help in limiting cache size of the browser anymore.

I cleaned cache size once and it was around 800 MB, the other time it was 300 mb. Now I just turn on auto cleaning after closing the browser, and the size decreases significantly.

Is there anyone having the same problem? I'm using Windows 10 x64 by the way.

"Clear Browser Data" doesn't clear it completely. Or it's only on my side?

Version 58 contains, in my opinion, a serious error.
Browser crashes (stop and not working) when using pages on facebook.
Version 57 does not contain this error.

Hello, I'm new to this browser. So far, it looks very promising. Setting my default homepage, however, was a fun puzzle to try and figure out.

I too am having difficulty as a Windows 10 Home user setting this as my default browser. Even though I have run Iron as administrator and have selected SRWare Iron as the default browser in the control panel, the problem persists in spite of everything being in place. So far this minor annoyance does not affect the basic functionality, so I am just glad to have something other than Security-Swiss-Cheese-Firefox, or any of the other problematic browsers that I've tried.

UPDATE: Apparently, selecting "Chrome" instead of SRWare Iron solves the problem. I know Iron is based off of Chrome, but I'm still confused, as I downloaded the latest version of SRWARE and never had any contact with Chrome in the past.

Profile creations and profile commands in portable version, example path: "C:\Iron\IronPortable.exe"
If we create new profile in browse - it create folder "Profile 2" as "C:\Iron\Profile\Profile 2"
So launch options DONT WORK as:
C:\Iron\IronPortable.exe --profile-directory="Profile 2"
C:\Iron\IronPortable.exe --user-data-dir="C:\Iron\Profile\Profile 2"

If we will create profile FROM LINK without space
C:\Iron\IronPortable.exe --profile-directory="Profile2"
It will create new user and this shourtcut will work
But not working:
C:\Iron\IronPortable.exe --user-data-dir="C:\Iron\Profile\Profile2"

Also not working anytime paths:
C:\Iron\Iron\Iron.exe
C:\Iron\Iron\Chrome.exe


As it possible to create from browser user-forlders without Space?

I also have problems with 58 and facebook, but I just kill tab with facebook and try again. After some time it starts working.

Since this release, running Iron Portable from flash disk on different PC remove all my extensions! Can you fix it ?
And have you plan to release the source code of Iron (Github ? Bitbucket?) ?
