Disable auto-update notifications on older computers
Adobe recommends that you keep auto-update notifications enabled so that you receive the latest features and security updates as they are deployed. However, if your system does not support the latest version of Flash Player, you can stop receiving reminders about updates.
To disable auto-update notifications and continue to use Flash Player 9, do the following:
Open the Flash Player Settings Manager in a new tab, or browser window.
Select Global Notifications Settings panel from the Settings Manager menu on the left side of the window.
When the Global Notifications Settings panel displays, deselect Notify Me When An Update To Adobe Flash Player Is Available.
