Hi, I've been using Iron with Linux Mint Cinnamon for a while and I'm happy but now I want to use split tunneling with my VPN - PIA (private internet access)
To do that I need to add the application "executable" in settings but it appears to be well hidden from me. Various local searches haven't unearthed anything.
I know Linux doesn't have .exe files but I have no idea what I'm looking for. (Linux relative newbie)
Where is the "executable" file in Linux Mint?

Well that's what I thought but it's not there. I've just re-installed it from the website using GDebi installer. Will that make a difference?

Well that's bizarre. I installed it, checked the location, not there. Resorted by name, date modified, still not there. Rebooted overnight..... and there it is! I have no idea why or how.

For example:
locate ls
would show you all occurrences of the ls command on your system.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions about finding or running executable files in Linux Mint.
