Assuming they add the option for WebRTC with v49, I suggest you use v46 for now.

Re: Iron Config & Backup Tool

Unfortunately I have still not been successful using this tool to try to get Win10 to register it as default browser. Using this tool, it launches Iron (v47) as Admin but when I go to the Settings to click the 'make Iron default' button, the button does not appear and instead there is text saying I...

Re: New Iron-Version: 48.0.2550.0 Stable for Windows

This is the single biggest Iron release in probably the last 20 versions! WebRTC, Widevine, built in Flash (installer), H264... what a release!!!

Re: New Iron-Version: 47.0.2500.0 Stable for Windows

I found the feature annoying I came here to complain about the same thing. Holy crap what are Google thinking??? Am not installing v47 on my home machine or future versions of Iron until this is sorted out - I can't get parameters to work in Taskbar shortcuts and surprise surprise MS never fixed it...

Re: Iron as DefaultBrowser - Tool

On a clean install of Iron 45 on Windows 10, none of these methods appear to work any more. The tool does nothing, running iron.exe as Admin with Windows 7 compatibility makes Iron *think* it is selected as the Default browser (but isn't) and just running it normally (or as Admin) and clicking the u...

Re: New Iron-Version: 44.0.2350.0 Stable for Windows

Good news; the WebRTC Network Limiter plugin (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... dhnlpdklia) appears to work in this build!

It's still a shame that the plugin is needed, but at least no WebRTC leaks for the time being.

The obligatory WebRTC leak thread

For a browser that's supposed to champion privacy over that of Chrome, it's disappointing that since v42 (or earlier?), Iron has not plugged the WebRTC leak. https://ipleak.net/ Even with the Google official extension WebRTC Network Limiter plugin installed, Iron v43 still leaks my real IP address. ...
